About the artist:
François Fontaine was born in Paris in 1968. Doctor in History of Art, curator, and editor-in-chief for the press magazine, he has been fascinated by travel and photography since his youth. His photographs has been exhibited in both France (e.g. Maison Européenne de la Photographie, Institut Lumière, Paris Photo) and other places around the world, from Beijing to Los Angeles.
